To all Interested Parties, Outdoorama, which is being held all this weekend at The Suburban Showplace in Novi, has informed MGO members working at MGO's booth that there are No Firearms allowed at the Venue.

This includes Concealed Carry or Open Carry. They were told to remove their Guns or the Authorities would be called.This is a new policy this year, since Open Carry and Concealed Carry have been allowed in the previous 5 Years.

they claimed that they are and always have been "an entertainment facility with more than 2500 seats", plus they erroneously claimed no guns because of the fact that they sell alcohol.

This is such hogwash.
When they have gun shows there, they have the patrons unload their guns and then zip tie them. The patrons are then allowed to conceal carry those guns. According to their interpretation all of those people would be in violation of their CPL because the statute prohibits the concealed carry of a pistol in the cPFZ. It makes no mention of the pistol being either loaded or unloaded. They're just talking out their a$$.
