MI DNR releases report on 2013 hunting incidents
« on: March 06, 2014, 02:43:36 PM »
Two-thirds of the victims shot themselves.

Two-thirds of the rest were shot by hunting companions.

Here's my favorite.  In Hillsdale County, a crossbow hunter fell asleep, crossbow between his legs and a finger within the finger guard. The crossbow fired, shooting him through the foot.  That'll wake you up.

And it's predominately the "hunters" that ridicule open carriers. And are proponents of "sensible" gun control.

Because clearly the 2nd Amendment concerns itself with hunting.

In fact, it's the exact opposite!

So very true. The patriots were hunting redcoats. ;-)

Their math is okay.  Two thirds of the rest means two thirds of one third, or 2/9 of the total.

6 people shot themselves
2 people were shot by hunting companions  <== two thirds of the rest
1 person was shot by a stranger  <== one third of the rest
