Weekend Project! Duracoat Zombie green

starting tonight i will be working on a weekend project:
duracoating slide, mag base plates, part of frame, slide stop, mag release, and possibly takedown lever on my pistol.

cant wait to see the results, will post pics when completed. has anyone ever done a duracoat job on their own? im using the prevail prayers recommended by duracoat

i havent done my own but i will be very soon, i know the stuff is pretty durable, if you know how to apply paint properly its no different, just gotta always keep that stream moving so you dont get the over coverage on one area and if your too close you'll make droplets form which makes it look hideous

Well, he did abandon me at CQT leaving me there alone with all of those people with guns, I was so scared.

CQT was packed full that day. im going to make it a point to make it down to the dinner tonight provided word doesnt have me going to chicago like it seems they are planning on doing to deliver a $130,000 carestream 3d panoramic/cone beam xray to a client there since they shipped it to the operations center here not the client

IIRC, if you have an out of state permit you can leave your gun loaded in your vehicle while in IL as long as you lock it up(or at least lock the car) when you leave the vehicle.

I wish they would allow michigan cpl holders to carry. At least i dont need a foid. Ofc i was driving a uhaul and probably looked like an interstate drug dealer in illinois with a uhaul with florida plates
