seems this family feels "nothing in your home is worth taking a kids life" and "they are seeking justice"

sorry lady, sucks your kid died.... but he was in the middle of committing a crime and broke into someones home. he had every right to shoot him. as of now according to the police no charges have been filed.

thats what i said. with stand your ground and the castle doctrine its cut and dry. break in a house. prepare to be shot and possibly killed. its a risk they take when committing a crime such as this.

Kid started his new job as a criminal, suffered from an occupational hazard, and had an early retirement. I don't see the problem.

I carry a gun because a Police Officer is too heavy.

Will Obama class this as "Workplace Violence"?

probably, and i'm sure mayors against guns will read his name off as a "victim" of "gun violence".

I love how these people always think that there was a whole understanding of it being a kid that was 15.  I don't know about you but when someone is breaking into my home after I have determined it is no one I know then all bets are off.  How am I supposed to know that he doesn't have something behind his back that I can't see?  I might try to give them a chance to get down on the floor.  If I can see both hands and I have several things blocking a direct rush.  Might!
