Knollwood Park hasn't been known for its beauty.  Its a disc golf course / park that sits next to (and not on) Western Michigan University.  Clean up efforts have removed about 400 pounds of broken glass and about 50 bags of trash.  They are now looking to put in cement tee's for its disc golf.  I know some of us are into disc golf.  What a great way to help clean up a run down park, and make a positive difference in a community.
(and hope the college students do not trash it).  Its this Saturday and Sunday from 8 AM to 6 PM, 5/3/2014 - 5/4/2014.  More details in the linked article.

I read that and thought it would be nice to help out. Unfortunately, my daughters G-parents are in town and the three of them have all kinds of exciting things for me to do.
