Great article.  Good to see people exercising the self-defense act of 2006.  Good to see it appears the cops aren't harassing them for doing so.  Question is, would we hear about it if they did?

The Wayne County Prosecutor Is still weighing in if they are going to charge him or not. Carry On.

I don't know how the Wayne County Pros. could even fathom pressing charges. It was clearly self-defense. and even if it was tried, it would be thrown out in court. Or is the Wayne County Pros. that really crappy of a lawyer? There are laws clearly stating that civilians can defend themselves in their own home.

If someone hears what the Prosecutor's office does, could they post the follow-up.  I'm genuinely curious.

There's nothing they could really prosecute, but then, their prosecutor is Kym Worthy, the same idiot that vowed to prosecute CPL holders for carrying more than one gun.

Why did the reporter have to mention the homeowner had a permit? Not required inside the home.

+++1 U'r right all he had to say is that he had a legal hand gun. I would say Michigan has law abiding citizens, in all of it's cities. Carry On.
