7/16/2014   Expected in HJ 59   presented to the Governor 6/17/2014 @ 9:54 AM
7/16/2014   Expected in HJ 59   approved by the Governor 6/21/2014 @ 5:20 PM
7/16/2014   Expected in HJ 59   filed with Secretary of State 6/24/2014 @ 4:58 PM
7/16/2014   Expected in HJ 59   assigned PA 201'14 with immediate effect

Note that it says completed and received a certificate of completion.  It doesn't say "licensed under section 5", aka CPL.

ok, wtf does this mean?

"Except as otherwise provided in this act, a person shall not purchase, carry, possess, or transport a pistol in this state without first having obtained a license for the pistol as prescribed in this section."

I have purchased two pistols, and did not have to get a license for them....

It means you need to read MCL 28.422 and MCL 28.422a.

Either you got a license or, you were "excepted" under the statute.

Or you got them illegally.
