Police Raid Burns Toddler in Crib

ATLANTA — The mother of the toddler injured after a flashbang was thrown into the home where their family was staying told Channel 2 Action News Friday morning that the boy remains in a medically-induced coma.

It seems to me that the police are way to quick to use no knock warrants, swat team tactics, and bust in doors claiming exigent circumstances.

A policeman on another forum I frequent suggested the following:

Quote
Want to keep BG from flushing drugs before search warrant? Turn off water to the house. If he has substantial amount of drugs (as he should as you are breaking into his house), he can only flush as much as the back of the toilet holds..... Gonna have to eat the rest.

It sounds so much simpler and reasonable than busting down doors, flash bangs, swat teams, etc.
