"The truth is, an alert went out that referred to this type of behavior as 'weird' or somehow not normal, and that was a mistake. It shouldn't have happened," said Cox, who added that the group "unequivocally" supports open carry laws.

Personally, I think this is nice to see. Hopefully the NRA finally "gets it" and  puts their full support behind OC.

I don't want to speak out of turn here, but I've worked the booth at dundee cablelas multiple times and was under the impression that it was an individual person that is responsible for that. Ezerharden an I have had run ins with this person, so has Onnie I believe. Someone please correct me if I'm wrong.

that same person holds "gun rights" meetings in CEZ's.

From what I've heard, you may be right.  It seems like whoever is in charge of the NRA tables at Cabelas doesn't want the competition from MOC.

To sit in the back.  Why won't they allow the MOC tables up front any more?

I've never seen an MCRGO table there?

Last Sept I was invited to speak for 30 min on OC in Michigan. It was an officially scheduled presentation/lecture.

When I volunteered, my question wasn't about being up front or in back.  I questioned why we were by the fishing department, not the firearms.
When a strong man, fully armed, guards his own palace, his goods are in peace. Luke 11:21

Then He said to them, “But now, he who has a money bag, let him take it, and likewise a knapsack; and he who has no sword, let him sell his garment and buy one."  Luke 22:36

What does that have to do with anything?

To answer a question here, yes it does appear that we are in back due to one person's dislike of Open Carry. As Detroit Fan pointed out, we have both had run in's with this individual.

I carry a gun because a Police Officer is too heavy.

Care to share this individual's name?

I open carry every time I go to Cabela's and have never had anyone follow me around, confront me, or seem upset about it. I just go about my business so maybe I don't notice. I live and work in Dundee so I deal with many Cabela's employee's. Guess I am going to start asking questions.

there is no issue with cabelas, they have been very nice to us every time i have been there. the issue is with an NRA rep in the area.
