oddly enough i see it now... not sure what the major malfunction was

I always thought it was a dog with a large nose and a trench coat. But yes, now I see it's a revolver in a holster which leaves the trigger area exposed.

Oh good grief! this is an OC site it should have been the only thing you saw. LOL

I just uploaded it from my pc. I can't get any others to work. have I had one before?

I usually use the site through my phone. The image is approximately one quarter inch by one quarter inch on my phone.

Ha! I shrunk the image way down and I think I see the dog. :coocoo:

Ok years ago when I first singed up here I had forgotten that I just linked my avatar from another gun board but I could always see it. So I keep asking (because I don't know) and no one will answer... did I ever have one here???

Interesting, how do you do that?  Is it a gif and just stops on whatever cycle it is on?

The avatar "image" is hosted on one of my servers.  There is a server-side php script that changes which image is served with each request.  They're all variations of Tux, the Linux mascot.
