Balanced View from USA Today

This is about the NJ mom pulled over and admitting she has a gun. USA today starts off by talking about a man who beat his wife unconscious in and elevator qualified for a diversion program to keep him out of jail, since he was a first time offender.

Interesting article for mainstream media.  I wonder if USA Today contacted MDA to provide the anti-gun commentary. O_o.

Prosecutor lowest recommended penalty they would accept was 5 yrs in jail.

She was initially pulled over for failing to maintain her lane.

I was reading an older story yesterday about a Chief of Police who was convicted of a FELONY, and not only did they offer him a diversion program, the felony gets wiped off of his record in two years.  This same chief was head of a PD that is on record for abusing citizen rights.
