I don't draw any differently from a Serpa than I do from any other holster. In ANY holster my trigger finger lays along side the side and on the Serpa this normal action releases the lock. I don't see how the Serpa causes the problem if the holster is designed to release when you lay your finger where it's supposed to go in the first place.
I think the problem arises from people thinking they have to "press the button" when they don't. Simply lay your finger along the button, where it is supposed to be anyway, and the lock releases.
