HOUSTON -

An alleged armed robber was shot and killed after attempting to hold up a family-owned convenience store at gunpoint.

On Friday around 10:30 p.m., the man entered the store at 9142 Scranton Street

According to police, he pointed a shotgun at the owner's daughter behind the register and demanded money.

[sarcasm]Case will be turned over to a Grand Jury?!??! WTH, are they going to charge the man with armed robbery posthumously?[/sarcasm]

Where are you getting "grand jury" from?  There's nothing in the story about a GJ.

The robber's name has not been released. However, Seth said the man's brother came to the store Saturday morning and threatened to take revenge by murdering the family.

Apparently the po-pos confiscated the Seths' only handgun, or the unnamed Hispanic family could be scheduling a double funeral.

Perhaps the grand jury is for the possibility of indicting the son and possibly his father? The thug was caught on camera waving a shotgun.. nothing ambiguous about that.
