OCT President CJ Grisham attacked for filming MDA interview. At the end of this video, a man who identified himself as a "hired bodyguard" attempted to push him out of the way and grabbed his camera. When CJ regained possession of his phone, the man grabbed his arm and shoved him out of the way. DPS troopers refused to arrest the man for assault in spite of many witnesses.

You can be physically assaulted and battered with attempted robbery (of cellphone) in front of Texas DPS Troopers and that's okay, they won't arrest anyone, but have a plastic toy gun?  For that you get arrested.
