15 USC ยง 7902 (made necessary in part by the asshats that run Wayne County) prohibits suing gunmakers for making guns that work properly, am I missing something here?

"Sources said several families met over the weekend with lawyers from Koskoff, Koskoff & Bieder, a Bridgeport, Conn., law firm, to discuss a potential lawsuit against Bushmaster, the North Carolina-based manufacturer of the Bushmaster AR 15 that Adam Lanza used to kill 20 first-graders and six adults on Dec. 14, 2012"

Unless im wrong here- wasnt it also found that the rifle never left his trunk?
All that was used in this incident were supposedly handguns.??

Commie News Network said that (pathetic loser who hoped killing kids would make him famous) left a shotgun in the car and quoted a cop who claimed that most of the killing was done with the AR.

Laws preventing lawsuits don't actually stop parties from filing them. They just instruct judges to dismiss them immediately and award cost to the defending party.

Of course, the plaintiff can always challenge the constitutionality of the law.

Good discussion of the lawsuit by Nicholas J. Johnson, Professor of Law, Fordham University School of Law, here:

Something that I have not really thought about before, at least in depth.  The lethality of shotguns with multiple projectiles flying at once as compared to the projectiles coming out of an AR.    This rung out hard and fast while reading that article posted above:
So with six quick trigger pulls, the 12 gauge repeating shotgun will fire ninety, .33 caliber projectiles.
