When a strong man, fully armed, guards his own palace, his goods are in peace. Luke 11:21

Then He said to them, “But now, he who has a money bag, let him take it, and likewise a knapsack; and he who has no sword, let him sell his garment and buy one."  Luke 22:36

Apparently, casing a joint doesn't involve looking for previous robbery results.

Evidently not. If they had, they'd have know to start in West Bloomfield where the proprietors aren't armed.

Shouldn't the employee that fired the shot be arrested & charged with something?
Hammers used to smash display cases do not represent a threat & you can't shoot to protect property.

But a hammer is just a common tool, it's not a weapon.
You don't even need a background check to buy one.

No training is needed to use one either, based on watching carpenters.

The robbers apparently did not realize that Paul Medawar and his son obtained firearms training after a 2010 robbery. They thwarted a holdup last spring and shot one of the suspects.
