That sounds like the OP's experience (until last weekend).

Should OP's initial query be directed to the corporate CEO, or should he try to find out if there's a specific person in charge of the Family Fare stores in Michigan?

Family Fare apparently does have a no firearms policy per their own documents.

Agree, and I also have never had an issue at Family Fare.

Pond Scum:
recurveman, could you tell us the Family Fare Location that you visited?  I have OC'd at the Family Fare at Leonard and Fuller without problems.  It was a overall good experience ... several folks asked about OC, CPL's, and gun rights in general.  It gave me a chance to discuss 2A rights.
