When calling 911 isn't enough
« on: November 23, 2015, 08:49:04 AM »
Washington, D.C. Police Chief Cathy Lanier encourages civilians to take out active shooters if they have an opportunity.  “The facts of the matter is that most active shooters kill most of the victims in 10 minutes or less. The best police department in the country is going to be about a five minute to seven minute response.”

Wait...isn't Chief Lanier one of the ones who is against residents of Washington, D.C. getting carry licenses and denying most applications?  Why yes, yes she is.

This will be a great conversation starter with my step kids at Thanksgiving Dinner.

Well, it would make a good conversation starter except  Sue won't let us talk about politics at family dinners.    :-X

Oh yeah.  Everyone knows that.   When they found the biggest, meanest T-Rex to ever walk the face of the earth they named it Sue.  That didn't surprise any of us.   :o
