More HTTPS stuff
« on: March 03, 2016, 07:05:38 PM »
The forum always uses https, but the basic miopencarry.org website as well as the signup page miopencarry.org/join can use http or https.  A former member refused to renew tonight because of the unsecure portion of the join page.  I pointed out that he could use the https one, but it doesn't dfefault to that, and when you click to it from the "joinus" home link http://miopencarry.org/joinus it goes to the unsecure one.

Things on our end should be getting redirected to https

Unfortunately, some things, like images, that we load externally may not have SSL enabled.

As a result, you won't see the nice green lock up top.

Well, as I said in this month's newsletter, "better late than never."  :)
