Cop torches truck, blames OC activists, pleas guilty

... to stealing a shotgun, the original crime which he thought everybody would forget about if he set his own truck on fire.
He no longer has to worry about arson and insurance fraud charges, but he has to give Progressive Insurance their money back for the truck claim.
He faces 'up to 10 years' at sentencing, but I'm wondering if ten days or maybe just probation is more likely.
