There are 3 Board of Governor’s positions up for election. Note: the way the board works now is that you are elected to the Board of governors and then the board once seated votes on who will handle the positions of:
President
Vice President
Treasurer
Secretary
These are the Officers of the Board of Governors. All other governors are seated in Board Member at Large positions. This Board member is not an officer of the organization, but as a Board Member holds the same measure of vote as any other Board member of the organization. The person holding this position is expected to attend monthly Board meetings, which are scheduled by consensus of the Board. These meetings typically run approximately 30-60 minutes. Board Members are also expected to check their email regularly and participate in inter-meeting discussions and decisions that happen via email.
Eligibility to VoteA member in good standing is entitled to vote at a meeting of the members of Michigan Open Carry, Inc. A member in good standing is one who has paid all required fees and dues and is not suspended or terminated, at the point voting is opened to the membership.
