It's target sports that's between 12 and 13 but they don't do gun smithing.  Williams gun sight in Davison is good.

Freedom Firearms of Battle Creek does smithing.

Have they put one on staff?  The last I knew they were doing some armorer stuff (installing sights, detail cleaning, replacing worn/broken parts) and sending out any actual smithing.

I believe On Target in Kalamazoo has an on staff gunsmith.

Dan at Silver Bullet in Grand Rapids has done a nice job for me on a couple of projects involving add ons and reliability work on 1911's.

Check out Kent Will at Gander Mountain in Kentwood, MI. 616-975-1000. He grew up in a gunsmith family and is carrying on the family business.  His brothers also work at Bachelder Master Gunmaker Inc.  1229 Michigan St NE Grand Rapids 616-459-3636
