Title: TC cop suspended for displaying Confederate flag

Not much to see here, just a guy in a shiny black pickup, with USA and Confederate flags flying in the bed.

With all the things cops do on the job, lawbreaking things, that get swept under a rug, how can they suspend a guy for 1A protected exhibition of a flag at a political rally?

A Confederate Battle Flag is intimidation? Really?
I'm not a fan of cops suing to overturn disciplinary actions, but I want to contribute to this guy's legal fund.

Fox 2 Detroit said last night that the cop resigned.

Forced out of his job, for doing nothing wrong.
For comparison, Timothy Loehmann got bonus vacation months for jumping out of a car and murdering a 13 year old black kid.

Not so sure he was "forced out".
If he had done nothing wrong there would be zero results after an investigation, right?

However since in the law enforcement community you can quit a job and the old department can not say anything bad about you to the new department, my guess is that is why he quit.

He is probably already at another department.

I equate "given the option of resigning with a clean record" with being forced out of the job, or at least "strongly encouraged to go away".
