Hi All. I'm new to MOC and have been curious about OC for a long time. I have southern roots and have grown up respecting fire arms and the purpose they serve. I'm an old Marine who appreciates our constitution and our liberties. I also believe community = looking after your neighbors. I love the post that stated you don't need to be a leader to be an activist (paraphrasing). Over the past month, I think I have read every post twice.
I plan on stating to join in on the conversations to test my own knowledge. I have OC'ed comfortable with my knowledge and would like to meet other like minded people. I do not have a CPL as of yet, but am in the process.
So, as a foot solider to the cause, any activity in my area and I'm there.
If you don't stand for something, you'll fall for anything.
In closing, Thanks to the leaders and members of MOC. Your posting of experiences and knowledge of the law is priceless.
