I just had $2.3million USDollar bitcoins sent to me from a widow in Nigeria.

Who cares what color he is and that he is sexually defective, why hasn't anybody mentioned he is parked in a handicap parking space?
That is the problem these days, the title should say "gun dealer accepts bit coin as payment".

I disagree. The other is part of the story--breaking stereotypes. Blacks owning guns, blacks being conservative/Republican, blacks being homosexual. All heavily frowned upon in the black community. You can start with this. We can deal with the rest if you want. But it is all part of the story.
In the black community, gun ownership makes them a pariah.

So he is the only black male that is a conservative, gun seller that is defective in the bedroom? I highly doubt it. Even if he was, what he does in the bedroom needs to stay there not all over the headlines.
I wonder if since he really is an obama supporter that parks in handicap spots, that maybe he really is looking for free publicity?
If being a conservative means thinking what he is doing is "ok" I need to reevaluate.

I see no evidence that he currently is an Obama supporter or "parks" in handicap spots.
James W. Porter was right. Gun owners are our own worst enemies.

So someone who is gay is defective in the bedroom? *sighs and shakes my head*
I'm not going to get lured into a protracted, off-topic discussion. Suffice to say, I don't believe that gay = defective.

These days if you're simply using the GPU on your PC -- you're way outgunned. People are spending 10's of thousands of dollars on highly specialized hardware and operating system/software that does nothing but mine bitcoins.
-
yep we had a few higher end servers running. however it was not getting us anywhere. one of my buddies owns a data center. he let us use 4 of the servers. they are nice servers. but after 4 weeks we gave up

Again, you're still outgunned. These dedicated bitcoin servers aren't standard instruction set and aren't standard OS. These things are built to mine bitcoin -- and no other purpose. There are thousands of these things on the internet.

Creating data centers, just to mine.

The picture I saw shows him parked in a handicap spot, and the article says was a dumbocrat until 2013 so unless I missed something the prior year he would have voted for who? If the arricle would have said "gun store owner accepts bitcoin" I would support him, the way it is now gets zero from me. I showed the news story to 3 people at my first stop today and they agree with me, To much info is a bad thing.

I hate it when people with their fancy cars gotta take up two prime spots just so nobody will park next to them.
And what's with all the handicapped spots up in front??? Some of the "handicapped" I've seen at Wal Mart could use a little exercise.

Considering the fact that bitcoin is now proven to be unstable as a currency and that the investment for computing ability for bitcoin costs more than a year of panning for gold in the mountains with more than just the basics. Why does anyone show interest in them? Is it that fools will follow the shiny new pretty. PT was very accurate in his statement, only these days it is about every second, not minute. This stuff reeks of being a Con.
I have to agree that the Homosexual item it OTT unless, the equal value is given to straight folks on head lines (which I have never seen).

Who cares about his sexual preference, or his race?
If the guy is silly enough to take bitcoins, more power to him. Hope it works out for him.

It doesn't appear to be moving and I doubt it is a holographic image, so yes he is parked there.
Again a gun store accepting bitcoin is news worthy. The rest falls into the TMI category, which is not only not news worthy it is just unacceptable.

Considering the fact that bitcoin is now proven to be unstable as a currency
I reject your premise, what are you basing it on? The bankruptcy if a single exchange? Bitcoin has many, many exchanges.
Do you suppose FRNs (federal reserve notes) are a stable currency?
Is bitcoin not worth more (compared to USD) than it was 4 or 5 months ago?
Note: I own zero BTC. I have no skin in this.

If the federal reserve note destabilizes, we have bigger problems then bitcoins will be able to withstand.
Bitcoins perceived value has seen some pretty wild swings.
I'm not convinced that US Treasury will continue to tolerate BTC as a competitive currency.

1. True. But he said the currency is "unstable". That's not true, but it is a rapidly growing market. I expect the price will begin to settle (or grow more slowly) in the next year.
2. What can they do about it? Nothing. It's peer-to-peer. They can take out domestic exchanges, but what about non-domestic ones that work in USD? What about local bitcoin exchange social websites (that hook up bitcoin buyers and sellers locally)? I don't think there's anything they can do to shut it down anymore than the movie studios can shut down pirates bay or torrent networks.

Senate bill 868 just introduced last week in Michigan for people like him.

A change in value of greater than 300 dollars in a two month time period would have any sane person buying a huge amount of puts on bitcoin. Considering which server reserve went down and the amount of money that was lost in that crash and the loss of value that has happened in the currency over the last month. Yes it is unstable. The electronic currency market is a new version of the dot com bubble from what I can see.
If a countries currency went into this kind of decline it would be quickly labeled as junk and the rates on it would be outrageous. Than again buying gold right now is a fools game as well and has been for a number of years. One area that is interesting is a trend by some groups to accept silver coin (sterling mint) for purchases. The interesting part in that is that silver has NOT been following historical norms in value compared to gold and other metals, nor has it been following a reasonable supply and demand curve considering the massive increase in uses of silver not only in electronic (including super conductors) but also the huge increase in medical uses of the metal. Though i would not touch silver certificates with a barge pole considering the issues with bad paper being issued by more than one major trading group.
So, yes considering the huge flux and the continued down turn and the loss of investment on ROI when mining bitcoin and other electronic currency and the huge questions of fraud in certain parts due to issues with some of the server groups, that to me classifies as unstable.
