Title: Warren OC Bike Ride 10/25 Completed!
Post by: mikestilly on October 25, 2010, 06:42:11 PM
Just completed an open carry bike ride in Warren with my son.  We biked down Common Rd and Dequindre to Ryan and then took Ryan Rd to 12 Mile rd and 12 Mile about .5 miles and cut through the sub division.   Just as we were passing the elementary school in the sub a Warren PD officer whom I recognized from the Warren Open Carry Picnic pulled up and waved and kept on going.  We passed a few people interested in open carry and I handed them a pamphlet and had several others say "hi" and waved as we passed.  Overall some very good exercise for my son and I and a little proof that at least my local Warren PD officer is aware.

nice job promoting the cause, both you and your son! These are the kinds of experiences that reinforce the membership.

Thats cool that your getting out with your son. I wish I could OC well "operating" a "vehicle" (bicycle). Only 2 years and a few months then finally get my CPL.
