http://www.humanevents.com/2012/09/21/the-new-gun-culture/ (http://www.humanevents.com/2012/09/21/the-new-gun-culture/)
The gun community has forever changed. Once in a supposed slow decline, the popularity of shooting and gun ownership has come roaring back during the past couple of decades. Sales of firearms are setting all kinds of records, and gun ranges are frequently packed with people.
Michael Bane calls the latest generation of gun owners “Gun Culture 2.0.”
The new generation of gun owners are fiercely independent, yet socially active – especially in the online space. The new generation comes from urban centers as well as middle America. New gun owners are of all genders, colors, creeds and social strata. They are not Elmer Fudd.
Unlike the reserved approach to politics that the traditional firearms lobby has taken, the new generation is outspoken, unashamed and willing to fight for what they believe. They are educated on the origins of the Second Amendment and the fundamental right to be free. They do not advocate for the Second Amendment as a right to hunt, rather they perceive it as a guaranteed ability to resist an oppressive government.

What a beauty she is. With or without the ink.
-
Now that I read the article, that looks good too...

I am not a fan of people coloring on themselves, but other than that she is cute. She looks happy. :)
-
I like my ladies clean and pure as the wind driven snow ;D No ink please
-
I agree about the ink, but I do think it would be awesome if she got a stock that matched her.

I dunno.... I sorta likes me some inked up "Suicide girls"...

Something about ink just makes even the prettiest ones just a bit trashy... apparently I like slightly trashy women... lol

To me the gauged ears are far less attractive than the ink.
-
Def. agreed.... body modifications are not something I am in to. A piercing here or there could be ok, depending on if it's tasteful, but gauged ears and other nasty looking things are not for me.
I don't mind Ink... but hate when chics have crappy looking tats and especially ones on their chest/boobs... if they have tons everywhere it's not as bad, but some chic in the bar smoking a cigarette with no tats except one of tweety bird on her boob looks trailer.

I fully embrace where the gun culture is...going? More people are getting into shooting sports and gun ownership in general, its not about needing a gun for hunting anymore as you can tell by looking at some people they arent the hunting type. Its nice to see that more people of all walks of life are acknowledging their right to bear arms. Its the future generations that will guarantee our right to bear arms, if future generations dont stand up and defend and support the 2nd amendment we will lose it.

I definitely agree with you Yance. Not to mention that many of those tattooed types are dyed in the wool liberals and occupiers, so it's good to see them take up something that is more on "our side"....
-
Sorry guys but the only good looking thing in that pic is the rifle. I just ate lunch now I dont feel good.

I didn't even notice those until you mentioned it. (https://www.msu.edu/~griffin/icon/ack.gif)
Still trying to figure out the purpose of that. So far my best guess is to hang laundry.

You could fit an over/under 12 ga or a side-by-side in that ear gauge hole!
-
I will say that it is my opinion that people who get that many tats, as a general rule, are deeply emotionally scarred....
