Title: “Oh, [expletive]!” the man declared, before running away.
Post by: gryphon on November 16, 2012, 07:47:27 PM
A Longview woman who was walking at Lake Sacajawea with her 6-year-old son pulled a gun on a man who exposed his genitals to her Wednesday evening, according to police.

“I said, ‘You need to leave or Ill shoot you. I’m going to blow your brains out.’ ”

My only question is: why wasn't the mag already in the gun?

Nope, the Glock 25/28 is not "illegal" in the U.S.A.
The can be imported with a LE letter to any FFL. Once in country, after LEO use, they can be sold to anyone. It is only their importation that is restricted.

But back to your original statement...

Glock DOES make .380acp chambered pistols.

Why do they need this LEO crap? Something about BATFE?

Yes. They consider that neither pistol have any "sporting" purposes allowing their importation for other than LE purposes. However, they can be lawfully transferred, after being used for LE purposes. Hence the finger grooves on some of the other models. I don't know how finger grooves make them "sporting." But it is how Glock gets around those BAFTE restrictions.

So much for the guy having his gun in his hand and meeting up with a woman with a gun in her's.

The reason that the .380 glock is not imported is because of somethin to do with its score.  There is a score that it gets for having certain parts, I can't remember if it has to do with american parts or what.  It gets so many points for whatever part/feature it has.  If it scores over a certain threshold it is importable.  If not, it's not.   THat's why the glock .380 is not imported.

As far as the incident with the flasher.  I wonder if that's an appropriate time to employ deadly force.  I'm not convinced...  though personally, I think she should've blown that guy's willy off...  lol....
