Hello Everyone! My name is Jesse, and I am very new to the world of open carry, or any carry for that matter. I am going on Friday to purchase my first firearm. After doing a lot of research and being somewhat chained to a budget, I have decided to purchase a Sig Sauer Pro SP2200 in .40 caliber. I was very happy to find a community such as this, to help inform people about the laws pertaining to the great state of Michigan. What you guys are doing is very important and I thank you for it.

I have been relieved to hear that confrontation with citizens and business owners is rare when open carrying. I really want to stay on the right side of the law and will do the homework to open carry safely! Thanks for having me :)
