Evidently not. If they had, they'd have know to start in West Bloomfield where the proprietors aren't armed.

Shouldn't the employee that fired the shot be arrested & charged with something?
Hammers used to smash display cases do not represent a threat & you can't shoot to protect property.

No training is needed to use one either, based on watching carpenters.

The robbers apparently did not realize that Paul Medawar and his son obtained firearms training after a 2010 robbery. They thwarted a holdup last spring and shot one of the suspects.
