Title: Hello From Alpena.
Post by: ProXaQ on March 29, 2014, 10:01:09 AM: I only became aware of this site yesterday, and I must say, I am impressed.

I've heard all the rumors and myths surrounding OC and CC. Its nice to know, there is a place to separate the fact from fiction. I have never open carried a firearm outside of the Military or DOC, and I'm starting to see the benefits of it, not just the draw, or deterrent factor, but the statement it makes as well.

I want to thank the authors and moderators and the site admin for an awesome job.

I will be reading much, much more.

I will definitley be attending then. I've open carried many times in performance of past duties, but love the idea of open carry as a private citizen. This has truly inspired me. Finally have a nice day here in Alpena, looks like a perfect day for an OC walk with the wife.

P.S. I have read and re-read the "this is a good place to start learning about Michigan's OC laws" post.

Thanks to you and everyone for the warm welcome, I wish I would of know about this site long ago. Its nice to see a gathering of like minded citizens.
