Title: GR man knew Dantzler was dangerous before providing gun used in mass killing

GRAND RAPIDS, MI – The Grand Rapids man who provided the gun that Rodrick Dantzler used to kill seven people was sentenced Monday, Feb. 3, to 10 years in federal prison.

Michael James Allen admitted to providing Dantzler with a 9mm semi-automatic Glock 19, knowing Dantzler was a felon and unable to legally acquire a handgun.

I guess background checks would solve almost all gun crime.

There needs to be a law to close the illegal gun transfer loophole.

and what loophole is this sir? care to elaborate?

or are you referring to having someone else buy and the report stolen a couple months later, they have been doing that in detroit for years

They need it to be in bold type. It will be even MORE illegal. (note the words are in bold and that proves it is more illegal!)

That's the one! A law closing the illegal gun sale loophole would have prevented this tragedy.

Unlawful gun buyers should have a background check done before they can buy illegal guns.
