Greetings from Jackson

Well, it feels like it's about time I showed up here.
I had the chance to meet with a few of you at Starbucks in Okemos, and a few more at the Denny's in (or just out of) Jackson.

Incidentally, I've since gotten a decent holster.  ;)

One of our members does "Mexican Carry", isn't that right, Pat? ;)

Glad to hear you got a holster. Which one, might I ask?

It's an open-top leather holster by Tagua.
This is not as retentive as some might like, but I have become more comfortable with using it.

Pretty basic, but technically functional:

Yep. All the time. 1911 or HK USP45. Cocked and locked.

Except when I am open carrying in an area where concealed carry is prohibited. Then I open carry with a holster on the outside of all clothing.

And when I attend MOC activities, since MOC advocates for the lawful open carry of holstered handguns.
