Anti gun groups are going to be protesting and boycotting Starbucks because of their stance on firearms (that they follow state law) and wont ban the possession in their stores. To show support for Starbucks stance and their refusal to cave to the anti gun groups show your support by buying a cup and hanging out for a bit and let them know why you are there that day.

If you plan on being at a starbucks put down the address of the Starbucks you'll be at so others can join you.

i finally just read this

My favorite part is "The NRA has lobbied for “open carry” gun policies nationwide." part. Like the NRA has anything to do with open carry..

I am going to pick a location either in Roseville or in New Baltimore. If one or two people want to hang out, hit me up. I'm thinking of making a sign to hold on the sidewalk. Something like "guns (picture) give us the freedom to choose what coffee we drink. I wonder if the store manager would let me just open a tab? Everyone make sure to save your receipts! Imagine if we could coordinate a sinlge mailing to their headquarters just to say thanks. Even though they don't choose the "fight" we can still thank them for their decision.
United we STAND!
I open carry for the same reason God gave poisonous animals bright colors.

Hi Chris,

I know there are some members (myself included) that will be attending the store in Allen Park, MI 48101 (about 20min east of you down I-94, for lunch that Tuesday :)

I know there are OCDO members talking of going to an Ypsilanti/Ann Arbor Starbucks (Be careful if you are carrying a pistol near U of M property as they are exempt from preemption that applies to cities under MCL 123.1102  :o

You should see the thread on this there. I believe member scooter is going for coffee that day at the Arborland store (Off US23 & M17 [Washtenaw Ave] )

Glock 9-
Thanks for the reply, I will head over to Allen Park. Figure better not to go at it alone and it would be nice to meet other members. Any idea about what time?
