It doesn't look bad... but somehow, the warning lights always start blinking for me when I see that the Federal Government is involved.

But at face value, I love it!

Of course, that was posted March 16, so what has happened to it (the bill)?
The price of freedom is the willingness to do sudden battle, anywhere, anytime, and with utter recklessness.

I have mixed feelings about it -- particularly focussed around the 10th amendment.

If we agree with them, through this act, that the Feds can regulate "interstate commerce" when it involves carrying a gun...what's next?

This bill is sadly destined to never pass the Senate. If by some strange way it does, Obama will never sign it and there are not enough votes for a Veto over-ride.

Let's not talk about Ted....he's kind of off topic. I can tell you're new here. Some people here think Ted is a saint and he holds zero credibility with most others.

I think that will summarize the following posts, therefore no one needs to really post more about it other than to quote which side of my post they fall on, of they desire.

I won't let this thread degrade into a thread living/bashing contest.

As I have posted in other threads, I'm with Q on the the 10A issues and improper application of the commerce clause.

However, I do think the 2A ought to do the trick.
