Toys and Trinkets, Pets and Other Animals
Bringing toys and trinkets to school is not allowed except with the
teacher’s permission for a class project or share day.
Collectable trading cards, iPods and electronic games are not allowed. Such articles provide
distractions in the classroom and supervision problems on the playground. Loss or theft of any of
these items is not the responsibility of Strobridge School or the Hayward Unified School
District. Knives, guns, explosives and toy weapons are prohibited and warrant suspension and/or
expulsion. Animals may not be brought to school without permission of the teacher and/or principal.
So the buyback is off-site or is common sense going to be applied to a zero tolerance policy?
