Check those dates on your CPL renewals
« on: February 18, 2014, 06:54:14 PM »
Went to pick up my renewal today, and even though it was supposed to become active on my birthday and expire 5 years later, they had the issuance date as a month ago and expiration date was only a little over 4 years later. Clerk was able to change it before laminating (yes we have to pay $3 at the clerk in Monroe County if we want our cheap paper CPL laminated by them)

So when picking up your renewal, make sure you're getting your full 5 years

Wayne county had both my wife's and my expiration dates screwed up.  I had to count on my fingers for them to get the expiration correct.  How hard can this be?

Your next birthday + 4 years, pretty tough.

Then He said to them, “But now, he who has a money bag, let him take it, and likewise a knapsack; and he who has no sword, let him sell his garment and buy one."  Luke 22:36

In the case of a renewal, your new license isn't effective until the day after your old license expires -- giving you a full 5 years.
