Voter wearing pro-gun shirt turned away

A voter was turned away from the polls for wearing a t-shirt that read “2nd Amendment – America’s Original Homeland Security.”  Poll workers claimed it was electioneering.

How can it be electioneering when the winner, regardless of political affiliation, has to take an oath to defend and uphold the constitution? Woops, did they just let the cat out of the bag?
