A Jackson man has filed a federal lawsuit against the city and several of its police officers alleging he was assaulted, battered and arrested without cause as he openly and legally carried a pistol at the Jackson Secretary of State Office.

I carry a gun because a Police Officer is too heavy.

This person is a member of our organization. Jeremy  Is also from the same town that I went to high school. He may have graduated from the same high school, I am not sure. My parents used to drive him around when he was on the Headstart bus.

Jackson PD has a history of this BS. This video(s), are  a good example of the low caliber of officers they have there. Officer Paul Albrecht harasses the same open carrier on two different occasions, even after prosecutors have explained the legality of OC to him. Last I heard he got promoted. :( At the end of the 3rd Burger King video you hear Albrecht say on tape "I'd rather violate his civil rights for the safety of the public." This was nearly 5 years ago and JPD still can't cope with the fact OC is legal? WTF!

Good old Paul Albrecht is assigned to pact area C2 in Jackson.

He feels that those who open carry are mentally ill from his recorded profanity laden rants in his cruiser. Feel free to call and leave him a greeting on his city line at 517.768.8787.

Bad police are like a cancer - left unchecked they will overrun their hosts (department). Apparently Jackson PD needs a strong dose of OC chemotherapy & radiation, to rid them of their diseased ranks. :o

Maybe the problem goes much higher up the chain of command in Jackson, MI PD? After all, if a fish swims backwards, the smart money says the problem lays with the head & not just the tail. ::)

According to the link below he received 2 awards in 2011. I would not be surprised if some of the officers from this latest cluster bleep aren't on the same list! Apparently, badged crime pays well in Jackson, MI. :-*
