CERT Community Emergency Response Team

The new CERT program is another option for MOC to consider. As if MOC were to start there own CERT team the members could be the majority of the team. The actual city that was registered would have to be a nonregistered city that currently does not have a CERT team. The City would need to be in a central location.

It's a good program if it is kept up with. I was in the lenawee cert team until it fell apart for lack of leadership and no modivation to move foward. But with the right people it would be a great program after getting the word out to the pubic and local law enforcement, fire and ems personal that the program would interact with.

Therein lies the problem. The leadership team cannot do this stuff by themselves.
