Denver: handcuffed man shoots at police

cops arrested this guy, he pulls a little raven 25 from his booty and fired 2 shots at cops before the firearm jammed. cops replied by shooting him in the stomach.

CLEARLY the police are now justified in performing cavity searches on anyone they have to handcuff now right?
