I've run across several OC-friendly restaurants in the news over the last year or two.  The newsletter has reported on a couple, and there is another one in the July 2014 issue coming up.

course, it does solve the issue of all of the plethora of neighborhood associations telling people what kinds of guns and what finishes are allowed.
