Because Engler might have signed pre-emption into law, but anti gun shits like Granholm and Snyder would never dream of doing anything like that.

Engler didn't sign preemption, it was his predecessor Blanchard (D).

Preemption was signed in 1990 before Jamie's failed re-election bid?
Why was I thinking 1993?

Snyder says it should be a local option, but:

http://wmuk.org/post/school-leaders-say-they-dont-want-option-outlaw-guns

But the Michigan Association of School Administrators (MASA) say local school boards aren’t equipped to handle those decisions.

My comment: If MASA says they aren't equipped to make decisions like that, how can they pretend to recommend to the legislature the supposed need for a statewide ban? What say you, Mr Wigent?
