I was a member first in June 2010. I had a relatively pleasant experience. That's why I tried to renew my membership. Before my previous membership expired, I emailed several times with questions I had about membership and other things. I never received any sort of response. I checked my email, my junk mail folder, I sent more than a couple follow up emails. It was frustrating to say the least. I have issues associating with organizations that can't respond to paying members.
I recently received an email from Dan Griffin asking me to renew my membership, I responded, then Tom responded. I was impressed by the professionalism and courteous nature. He was very helpful. It prompted me to come back and check things out. Seems like a more professional and directed group. Feels like there are more clear definitions to the organization's goal and intents.
Obviously, this is a 1000 foot overview. Lol.
I've always open carried and tried to educate and re-normalize open carry, even when not a member. Lol. The resources here are vast and very much appreciated.
