At least in NYPD patrol officers have started testing google glass.  While this isn't in Michigan, it's only a matter of time before it expands to other locations:

So in essence there is no need to show them your ID (in time), cause they will have the capability to know who you are via an identity app:

since when has that stopped people from adding that ability.  I know a few people that rooted their google glass that can take pictures just by blinking their eye.   Mean while over in Georgia, Police make first arrest recorded with google glass

also driving while texting in michigan is against the law. cant count on 2 hands how many cops i see testing. apparently they are exempt from abiding the laws they enforce
