Range clean up
« on: February 14, 2014, 02:47:35 PM »
Hey all.   I was thinking about trying to get some people together to clean up a local outdoor range later this spring.   The one I'm thinking of is located off of Yankee Springs Road south of Middleville in the Yankee Springs Recreational Area.   I haven't been back there this year yet but I know it can get  bad.   Lots of people leave whatever it is they shot at there for someone else to take care of.  Thought I'd throw this out there to see how much interest there is.   Maybe we can make this an official event if enough people commit to it.

Not much really, the area is stripped pretty well of brass, though there is some.

Yeah I think there are a couple of locals that make the rounds.   Both for reloading and scrap.

Lets wait a while to plan this. We could very well have a long and sloppy spring, and from what I hear, this place won't be fun under such conditions.

91, keep this in mind and bring it up again when the weather gets better. We'll make an official event out of it.
