It can happen to anybody, even professionals (like cops, many of whom only receive training because it's mandatory, or military/ex-military, like the guy who thinks NDs happen to everybody).

At least he admits that he was negligent in choosing unholstered pocket carry.

What pocket was he carrying in I wonder? I wouldn't think a gun carried in a front pocket would have a wound on the back side of the leg like that unless it went all the way through. Cargo pocket maybe?
