Resident gets in gun fight with 8 teens in home invasion

I guess this one really makes a strong case for home carry. Sure wouldn't want to do battle with 8 'youths', some of them armed, without ample firepower in my immediate possession.

That would be ugly. My plan would be to use my handgun that is almost always on me to cover my retreat to the bedroom with my carbine that is ready to go.

Another case where Universal Background Checks would have prevented this crime.
Being underage, 7 of these 8 wouldn't have passed & couldn't have bought the guns.
